Is there a way I can check if my Wii shop account is linked to my club Nintendo account WITHOUT using the console?

Hello, I am considering purchasing a new Wii console and have spent several hundred dollars on Virtual console and Wiiware content. But I am unsure if I have linked the console to my Club Nintendo account, and so I'm not sure if I have access to my titles on a potential new hardware. I am almost certain I have registered the serial number for coins way back when for coins if this counts for anything.

Keep in mind I am asking for a solution that does not include using the console to check my status.

Thanks

This is not the case currently for games that have taken advantage of Spotpass. Dead or Alive's costumes were on the cart to begin with so really all the developers have been doing is sending messages.

I find that Nintendo's inability to patch this glitch (and another has surfaced for another track, making 2 bad places to race) completely unacceptable.

Games can recieve title updates through the eshop and while we have not seen a retail game get an update outside of ridge racer, it has been teased that things like DLC could come to Super Mario 3D land.

Given that it has also been confirmed that the 3DS has the architecture to download full retail games, it is not a stretch to think that the bug could be fixed, it would just take some doing and be dependent on an SD card.. ..Which is bundled with each system. At least disconnect people who go towards those areas of the track.

Round 2: Severe lag in Mario kart 7 when using two 3DS unit's on the same access point

My issue is playing the game Mario kart 7 online with multiple 3DS units connected to the same access point. When the gameplay begins, our entire connection slows down to a crawl. This is only with Mario kart 7.

I have contacted customer support several times over the past month and worked with the "Advanced wifi" group to resolve the issue and we did things like port forwarding, using the DMZ and setting manual settings to the 3DS to no avail.

Right now Nintendo's support line is "busy" (after getting disconnected by them several times). I am slowly becoming irritated with this issue and the rate at which I can recieve help for it because I've started contact with them in January.

I posted a thread about this in late January and still have the same problem, here is the quoted text from the thread as well as a link

http://techforums.nintendo.com/thread/14007

"Hello, I have an issue with playing Mario kart 7 with multiple 3DS consoles on the same wireless access point. When my kid brother and I connect and play Mario kart 7 online at the same time, we get alot of lag. Running a ping test, it spikes to about 2k. This does not happen when we play different online games.

For example, if he is playing Street fighter online while I play Mario Kart, there is no latency. But when Gameplay starts in Mario kart 7, we don't even have to be in the same room-- we lag very badly.

When I contacted Support (Yes, I spoke with Nintendo already) they said this was an oddball issue, that they had no specific solution, and gave me general trouble shooting tips, which I tried:

-I tried manually assigning IP Addresses, all the general stuff Nintendo has online.

-I tried changing the broadcasting channel to "1" and "11" to no avail.

-I tried DMZ and manually adding the MAC Address of each unit and increasing their bandwith allocation/priority (This seemed to help, ping was now 900ms, which is poor-- but a start)

I cannot identify this problem and Nintendo has reassured me that my connection is fine, and that it may be an issue with the game. In which case "There is no fix"..

I'm posting here to ask if people can play with their units seamlessly at the same time. I did not have this problem with Mario Kart Wii. I would also like to hear suggestions on how to fix the problem, because I've simply no clue.

I saw one thread on gfaqs with my issue and would like to gauge if it really is that easy to replicate

Thank you!"

If anyone has a similar issue so that I can go on something, please share with me. Nintendo's reps seem to have no idea what the problem could be and trouble shooting over the phone has been an agonizing process
