My thought would be...that since you bought a 3DS from America, it's coded to the region, so it would not matter where the physical product is when you get your free games.

But anyone who wants the free games must access the Nintendo eShop ONCE before the deadline. You don't even have to make a purchase. You just have to actually go into the eShop to browse.

This is from the official Nintendo press release:

"These free games are available to anyone who owns a Nintendo 3DS system and uses a wireless broadband Internet signal to connect to the Nintendo eShop at least once before 11:59 p.m. Eastern time on Aug. 11. These users will automatically be registered in the Nintendo 3DS Ambassador program."

One thing that you might try is checking to see if your security is set to WEP. This is a weaker security, but it is the only one that is supported by DS games. The DSi, DSiXL, and 3DS do support stronger security, like WPA-2, but only for games designed to support that as well. For instance, you can have your system configured for WPA-2 support, but if you are playing Mario Kart, it would still need WEP security to play online. The only exception I know to this is Pokemon Black/White, which support both wireless security options.

Also, the DSi, DSiXL, and 3DS will allow you to set up wireless connections that support either WEP or more advanced security features. But you will have to consider that your wireless network can only support one security option at a time. For example, I have WPA-2 set for my home wireless system, but I can play a game like Mario Kart online at my friend's house that supports WEP security. Both connections are saved to my system, but I can only play online at my friend's house. Connections 1 through 3 support DS-exclusive software.

You may also want to check out Nintendo's official Pokedex 3D site that is now available. The five Pokemon that can be scanned by the AR markers will be available in various forms in the near future. For instance, Victini's AR marker will be published in the current NIntendo Power magazine. One AR marker was made available at Comic-Con last week. Nintendo will be releasing these AR markers in various forms over time so that you will have more than one chance to get them. You may be able to find some of these markers online if you do a search as well.

You will need to trade with friends to complete the entire Pokedex in addition to these special markers.

You can also use the edge of a credit card to help smooth bubbles out on screen protectors. Just don't apply excessive pressure for obvious reasons. I also bought a screen protector that is military-grade (available in most gaming and electronic stores) that applies without bubbles at all. It's awesome.

Yes, you can use the charger that came with your 3DS, just not the cradle. I use my original charger that came with the 3DS, and it works fine. I also have the Nyko cradle, and I even use the charger for that as well. IMO, the Nyko cradle is really superior in design to the original 3DS cradle. But I like flashy things anyways.

In response to your question about the Nyko charger...

If you are talking about the Nintendo 3DS charging cradle vs. the Nyko charging cradle, I am not sure. But the 3DS charger that you can plug into the back of the unit will charge the 3DS with the Nyko battery attached.
