3ds connects to the internet but now laptop and iphone won't

We recently set up my son's 3ds to connect to the internet via our linksys router. It is working fine and we've been able to download games, etc. But now our laptop and iphone won't connect wirelessly. Before we only had one choice of connection, linksys. After enabling the 3ds we now have two connection choices, linksys and linksys_WPS_9976 I am assuming that the second choice is the 3ds but I don't know. We've tried pushing the router button, turning off the 3ds wireless connection, but nothing's worked so far and it's quite maddening. Any suggestions? When I try to connect to the WPS connection it asks for the network security key, of which I have no clue. Thanks for any help.

Ds lite question

Hi. I have a question about the Ds.

Back in 2007-2008, I had gotten a Ds Lite As a surprise, a few months later, my sister got one too, and I was told I should replace my gaming system after 5 years, dunno why.

And now, 5 years later, Touch screen kind of non-responsive, even though I calibrate it a few times a month, and some.. white stuff stuck between the screen edges, and places that are in corners. It might seem disgusting, but really, I've tried cleaning it off. It's stuck there. I'm a clean person, too.

Also, my sister's nintendo is a complete rubbish. Her game slot is broken, the bottom screen has a piece of tissue stuck INSIDE the screen... don't ask me how that happened. I have no idea. And the bottom screen is VERY irresponsive.

Her game slot, I have no idea how it broke. Maybe she shoved the game inside too hard.

And from all this... My battery can last about 2 months without recharging, open, and No exaggeration.

My question is, from all this, do I have to replace my nintendo every 5 years? And can Ds lite games work on the 3Ds With WPA wi-fi?

And official nintendo seal of quality -- I have a nintendo game, and only one, from 2009. but my older ones are only official nintendo seal.

And so is some of my newer ones, that don't have this seal.

It has the same nintendo plastic logo in the back of the card and same stuffs. including the letters in the bottom left.

Oh and, it's a circle shaped seal, and it has the same gameplay and everything. And I got it from Superstore and it was in plastic covering.

DS lite top screen moves side to side if slighty tapped and makes a "click" noise. Will the hinges crack from this?

So I bought a used DS lite so I could play GBA games again however, I noticed that the top screen moves side to side if slighty tapped and makes a "click" noise. Also when the system is closed it will move slightly up and down on the left side of the hinge if you push up on it. Will the hinges crack from this or cause any other problems?

I was playing my DS and I closed it, in order to save power while I typed something out on the computer. I was listening to music sort of loud, so I didn't hear anything for about ten minutes, but when one of the songs ended, I heard a strange, dull clicking sound. I looked around my room for a while until I realized it was my DS. (I held it to my ear, it was most certainly coming from the DS.) When I opened my DS, it stopped. What the world WAS that? Is that normal? I'm honestly afraid to play my game anymore until I know for sure.

Edit: I tried closing it again to see if it would do it again, and the green power light blinks rapidly while it makes the dull clicking sound. This is definitely not normal.

DS Lite not turning on; but charge light works?

My DS Lite refuses to turn on. It was only a several hours ago I was playing Pokemon with a green lit charge. More recently, I tried and successfully fixed the shoulder (L/R) buttons by blowing into said seams. It worked and continued to work until I turned the system off and proceeded with my day. The weird thing is that when I plug in my charger, the orange light is clear as day with no abnormalities. It's just the system wont turn on! No flicker of the screen or power light or anything. So, in the process of removing the battery, I noticed a few droplets of moisture likely originating from my breath from earlier. I'm going to assume this has something to do with my grief. Maybe I shorted the fuses somehow? I may try bringing the battery to a friend's house to test it on his DS Lite, but because the charge light is on I doubt that is the source of my problem.

DS Lite: Buzzing sound since new

About 3 years ago I got a new DS Lite to replace my old Coral Pink DS Lite which had a cracked hinge, and the touch screen would no longer calibrate. My new one was/is a special edition Lime Green DS Lite (it came with the special Mother's Day pack, with a case, and a Cooking game). Now it's always worked perfectly with no problems since I got it (and I haven't used it a whole lot since I got it), but from the second I turned it on its always made this high pitched buzzing sound. It's extremely annoying and sounds to be coming from somewhere behind the touch screen. I have no idea why it does this, and I wonder if it's happened to anyone else and/or is fixable? Also a couple of dust specs appear to have been built into the top screen, but I've gotten use to them, it's just the annoying buzzing I'm worried about.

DSi and 3DS keep going into sleep mode while open on White DS lite!!

I was wondering if I should get my white DS lite repaired if it keeps putting my other handhelds into sleep mode. I thought it was my DSi glitching, but when i tried having my 3DS on there and adjusting it where it was on the DS, it did the same thing. Please help!!

3ds XL shuts off when pressure is applied

Like the tittle says, when i put slight pressure on the lower right corner from anywhere below the B button and around the microphone area the 3DS will shut off. It doesn't save the date/time so i assume it's a hard shut off and something is wrong. It wouldn't be much of a problem if the system wasn't shutting off when it is closed too hard or pinched in the bottom right corner while it's closed, losing all current data. Is this a common problem?

Is my DS Lite fake?

Greetings. I purchased a new black DS Lite on Amazon which I figured would be a much safer option than Ebay. But.. there's a few things that caught my eye.

-The box has a picture of the DS Lite on front and back. There is no text description of the product or pictures of sample games. Just a DS lite on pic on front and back.

-The bottom of the box shows the words "FOR HONG KONG AND MACAU ONLY" with kanji symbols afterwards.

-The serial number on the back of the DS starts with "UTF" and only has 8 numbers after it, no 9th number in a box.

-The contents of the box contained 1 wriststrap, 1 spare stylus, 1 charger, and 1 instruction manual. There was no other paperwork besides 1 instruction manual.

-There's a circle symbol on front, back, and bottom of box the size of a nickel. There's a horizontal line going through the middle of the circle, the top half is grey and bottom half is pink, all with kanji inside.

I did go to a few different webpages that show how to compare build quality between fake and real and I did not see anything different. It seemed like the build quality was fine and there was nothing off that I could tell.

Would anyone be able to offer further insight on this? Anything else I could check?

If needed I can post screenshots or a youtube video.

EDIT:

I went through the instruction booklet and on page 68 under specification it states:

"Important: Export of this product may be subject to certain international export laws and regulations and accordingly may not be exported or brought in to certain countries or areas. FOR HONG KONG AND MACAU ONLY"

The final page in book, page 75, states "FOR SALE AND USE IN HONG KONG AND MACAU ONLY" and than it gives address and phone number for Nintendo's maintenance service centre located in Hong Kong.

So.... opinions?

Sign of a bad battery?

I just want to double check if this s a sign of a bad battery or signs of worse to come.

I purchased the DS Lite used from Game Stop and when it was time to charge the DS Lite the system reset. However my Friend Code remained as well as data associated with Pokemon Black 2. I reset the time, date and etc. and pugged it in one more time, it reset again. I thought this maybe due to a bad battery considering it's a used system. I swaped the batteries with my older DS Lite (that's showing it's age greatly) that had a Nintendo ordered replacement battery a few years back and only got intermitent play or use. Everything seems okay at this point...I was just wondering if it was indeed a battery issue or something more akin to hardware or system failure.

Also, I really, really don't want to have the answer 'Take it back to Game Stop' because this will be the third time I've done such a thing. The first DS Lite had stress fractures that got worse over time, the second one emitted a very high pitch whine from the speakers and I swapped that one with Game Stop. Over all Game Stop has bee bending over back wards for me to be a satisfied customer and besides I finally got a color I love, a silver DS Lite.

Thanks for any help or insight into this matter.
