I received 2 $20 eshop nintendo cards (not visa or mastercard gift cards but the nintendo branded direct eshop cards). I turned on my wii U went to the eshop and proceeded to add funds. I put in the 1st card code and it worked fine. When I put in the 2nd card code i got the the screen where it says this card is worth $20 do you want to add funds? I clicked on add funds and then I received an error. I can't get onto the eshop at all now but, earlier I was able to get on but when I tried the 2nd card code again it says this code has already been redeemed, however that amount of $20 was never added to my wii U "wallet". It seems I have been completely screwed out of $20. Any way around this?
I realize that now but didn't earlier today as it accepted my 1st card without issue. I'm obviously gonna call nintendo tomorrow when they are open to try and sort it out. I've just never had a problem like this where a direct gift card is showing as used but I never got the actualy credit it seems like I could be in real trouble, as I'm afraid nintendo may not honor my situation. If only there was a way to check my transaction history with my account. For example with playstation you can pull up all your transaction history of using digital cards and making purchases. I need proof so I can make nintendo add the $20 to my digital wallet.
The same thing happened to me earlier tonight. I sent an email to Nintendo Customer Support and I will call them in the morning. I hope they have a record of it being redeemed and they can see no funds have been credited, right now I can't check my account history due to the problems with the WiiU eshop. I am confident that they will honor our cards though after the fiasco that has been going on today with their networks.
This happened to me today with a credit card deposit of $100. I have proof from my bank. I am going to have bank dispute the charge and return this game system. Not very happy with the way they handle things here. Good luck getting a hold of anyone tomorrow. They will just say we have so many callers , we couldnt get to everyone. Like this is some kind of suprise to them . They knew perfectly well they had sold 10x more consoles than there server could handle. They just want the money.
