well, you're probably gonna have to format your gamecube memory card. you will lose all of the data on it though. if you have two memory cards, you might be able to salvage some of the files, but if it's corrupted it has to be erased. sorry...

Have you made sure the card is in securely? Like the poster above said, try copying your Wind Waker files to a different memory card and try loading the save file off the second card.

and by the way, is your memory card official nintendo or 3rd party? the reason why i ask this is because 3rd party gamecube memory cards are notorious for corruption.

Is it doing this to other games on the same Memory Card as well? If so, formatting is really your best option. If it's just Wind Waker, try deleting the game's data manually.

After this happened, did you try going back on again to see if the save file was still there? It might of been just a freak-glitch. They are common with Gamecube games.

I have the same memory card and you made a mistake puting it in the Wii. Because it is formatted to a game cube and once put into a Wii and played with it won't work with the Wii unless deleting all of your data and re-formatted to the Wii.

Try using a lower capacity memory card. Using 1019 cards on Wiis often cause saves to get corrupted, and on another forum I go on, several people who used 1019 cards even caused their Wii to overheat. So, 1019 cards and Wii don't get along very well.
