I bought a Wii in Singapore and it does not connect to the internet for Wii store. It does connect for updates, but nothing else. Is there something about Singapore that does not allow Wii to connect to the internet?
In order to use the online features of the Wii, such as the Wii Shop Channel, the News Channel, or play games such as Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing over Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, you must have agreed to the terms of service. This should have appeared after you performed a system update for your Nintendo Wii console.
I tried to agree to the terms and conditions but when I do I get a message that" WiiConnect 24 and Wii Shop Channel are not currently being offered"
Ever option I try eventually ends up with this message.
Have you tried to change your Wii console's Country setting?
Brilliant! I changed the country from Singapore to United States and it is now working. Unless they check the IP or something later, this should have everything working.
Thanks for the help!
Not a problem, my friend. Glad to help. Feel free to send me a PM if you have any more trouble. If you want, of course. Ha ha.
Hi, I'm from Malaysia. My Wii is Malaysian Original(means can play any Wii games from U.S region version), Internet connection is successful.
However, the System Update of Wii doesn't finish and pop-up a Error Code: 32004. I've following the troubleshooting from Nintendo support, but unsuccessed. My Wii console is connecting with my home wireless network(Fibre Network).
HELP ME PLEASE!!!
