Inviting Miis to Mii Plaza

Is there anyway to not get miis from mario kart when you play online? My Mii Plaza fills up with them and I was just wondering if you could turn that off. I tried to turn off the Invite Mii option on the Mii Plaza app, but then I wasn't able to get any Streetpasses with anyone.

As far as I know, there isn't any other way to turn that off, aside from the Invite Mii option.

Well, do this. When Mario Kart 7 appears in the Notifications area (the one with all the messages from Nintendo and stuff, the Spotpass area), if you streetpass, there will be a Mario Kart icon. When you open it, an option to disable Streetpass for JUST MARIO KART appears.

 

Perhaps that would prevent people from MK7 from being in your Mii Plaza.

If you go to System Settings and then Data Management, there will be a horizontal button that allows you to see twelve titles that you have Streetpass enabled for.  MK7 will be there, and you can turn it off from there.

 

Also, if you go to the Mario Kart Channel on the MK7 title screen, you can click on your Mii's face on the bottom right of the screen, which will bring up settings that allow to to disable Streetpass for MK7.

I still wan't streetpass for Mario Kart 7 just not all the miis from online.

Did you mean that you get Miis in your Mii Plaza from online play (which I don't think can happen)?

Actually it does happen.

 

I went to go race on one community, and then bam, my Mii Plaza goes from 10 to 70 Miis.

 

And it grows as more and more people play in the community (i only played one race with them).

 

So my Plaza has 119 Miis, yet I only have 27 actual Streetpasses/
