Hey guys.
I have several problems going on with my system and am considering sending it in for repair.
With all this, if I send it in, is there any way I can be sure I'll get MY system back?
If there is no way to guarantee that I won't just get a replacement, I'm considering not sending it at all. Yeah, there is a lot wrong with it but 1) It's a Zelda 3DS and 2) I put so much into coming up with the funds to get the thing that I want MY system back and not just a replacement. (Maybe I'm just being overly sentimental, IDK)
Anything I can do?
Dead pixels and a scratched screen can be solved with a new screen, so a replacement isn't necessary for that. But as for bad housing... Hm. I'm not sure how easy it is to replace the housing without messing a lot of stuff up. That might be cause for a replacement. With that, I don't think you can be sure you'll get your system back. I'd start by sending off an email to Nintendo with this post. For reference, the URL is: http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/webformsc.jsp
Thanks CHARI.
Just sent the email so we will see what happens.
The housing is really the least of the three for me, so if the system would have to be replaced to solve that problem, I'd rather they just work on the screen issues, leave the housing alone and send me back MY system.
Haven't really delt with Nintendo in this capacity before, so I am not sure what to expect. I'm just hoping someone will really listen to me instead of just sending a cookie-cutter response.... <.<
