Spotpass notifications that repeat / receive multiple times

Hi.

I have a weird issue with the spotpass notifications of my system, as I receive them multiple times.

For example, I have received the notification of "New Friend-List Feature" nine times.

Something is probably messed up in Nintendo's database; the system is probably not registering that your 3DS has already been contacted, and keeps on sending them.  In this scenario, call Nintendo at 1800-255-3700.

 

Also, if you haven't ever read those notifications, it might keep sending them because you didn't read it.  That's definetely iffy.

 

Finally, I know what you're dealing with; I've received (and read) "Nintendo Zone Available Now!" for a few times already.

Mine must be too, cuz i have the exact same thing happen. Its not a big deal though

Yes, I read them every time I receive them, so that's not the cause of the problem.

I have experienced this also. One thing I've noticed is that it seems to happen in connection with the system being shut off improperly (such as when the battery becomes critically low).
