I downloaded the Virtual Console game "Donkey Kong Country" on Feb 20, 2012.
I still haven't received a post-play survey for the game on my CN account... what's wrong?
Unfortunately, Donkey Kong Country for Virtual Console is not worth any coins because it was released in 2007, and many of the games made by Nintendo prior to December 2008 are not eligible for Club Nintendo coins. Sorry
Thank you very much for your reply NINTENMAN94, I wasn't aware of that.
Just as an FYI, you should be able to scroll through the Club Nintendo FAQ and find a list of which Virtual Console and WiiWare games that were released before Club Nintendo launched that can be used to earn Coins via the survey method. Since Club Nintendo launched in North America in December 2008, most, if not all, Virtual Console and WiiWare games released since then have been able to have had surveys taken so you can earn some Coins.
And NONE of the games prior December 08 have post-play surveys?
That's right, since Club Nintendo wasn't in existence then.
Actually, there are a few exceptions. Here is a list of downloadable titles on the Wii Shop Channel that were made before December 2008 but are elligible for post-play surveys.
