I had recently put my Wii on a new HDTV, and it seems to have a delayed reactions. It's very hard to play games that require timing such as Rhythm Heaven Fever and Super Smash Bros Brawl like this. I have component cables plugged in and have the Wii set to 480p. What's causing the delayed reaction and is there a way to fix it?

go to your tv's picture settings and see if there is any sort of game mode. this is a common occurence

My TV only has a TV setting, a Video setting, a Component setting, and a HDMI setting. I play my Wii on the component setting. I used to play it on the video setting on the old cables.

Is there any variation of succes in the different settings? whats the model of the tv?

Oh wow! Nevermind. After looking more into my TV I did discover an alternate Game Mode and it works like a dream! Thanks you, now I should be able to play Mario Party 9 tomorrow with no problem
