I thought I had finally stopped having Streetpass problems, but I was wrong. Tonight, I Streetpassed with my neighbor, and only got his MK7 data. I KNOW he has Streetpass activated for the Mii Plaza, so I don't see why I didn't get him.
Many of you are probably familiar with my numerous Streetpass posts in the past like "Even More Streetpass Problems". Can someone please tell me what the heck is going on? I'm pretty sure something's wrong with my system.
Bump!
What the frik? Me and my friend tried Streetpassing today, and it wouldn't work! We've had our 3DSs laying next to each other in sleep mode for about 20 minutes now! The light won't turn green, and we can't get each others data! We've been able to do this over 99 times before! Can someone tell me what is wrong with my 3DS? PLEASE?!?!?
It's not just your 3DS. Once in a while, I am next to someone who has Streetpass activated and that Mii simply won't show up. I have tried changing settings, switching Miis, etc., but the Mii eventually shows up if I keep the 3DS on long enough.
As for your earlier post, that happens to me all the time (getting the tag for a game but not for the Mii Plaza). A few weeks ago, I asked if anyone else had this problem, and noone did. There isn't a fix, and my experience with Streetpass shows me that it isn't a perfect program.
Here is one thing that may help you. I often find that, after a prolonged period of playing a game online, quitting to the Home menu and immediately putting the 3DS into sleep mode to get Streetpasses does not work. I have tried turning off the system, letting it rest for a minute, and then turning it back on again to get more tags. This has only given me mixed results, but it does sometimes help me detect nearby 3DS's that I previously couldn't connect to.
i have a simaler problem although not as bad. when i get a new game (say mario 3d land) i set up the street pass and when i do street pass i get there mii but nothing on my game (they have the same game and there street pass is also set up). but then i do it a second time with them the next day and it works. just so you guys no there is a time limit of how long you can do street pass after you just did it with the same person. i think its a day or 20 hours. i would call nintendo and see if it is something thet needs fixing.
The limit is actually every 8 hours.
oh well thanks for telling me!
If you don't want to do that anymore go to settings and turn off "Invite Mii" i personally like it and my friend is like how did you get so many people???
