Wii Shop

So, the wii shop channel was unavailable yesterday and there is nothing new on it.... HELP!! IS THIS SOME KIND OF FREAK GLITCH?!?!?!?!?!?!

Nope, I can assure you that this is not a glitch. Nintendo is simply performing some server maintenance on both the Wii Shop and the 3DS Eshop, as they did back in August 2011. Server maintenance is just the process of keeping a server updated and running so that a network can operate smoothly.

Sometimes the servers go down for maintenance or some such business.

Recently, we had about five people create threads or post comments that the Club Nintendo site was sometimes not allowing surveys to be completed.  Perhaps this has something to do with the eShop or Wii Shop being down in some way.
