It was a pain (literally) to get used to the left handed controls of the game. I use the ABXY to move and my left hand to aim. I've already mastered this control scheme, however... the powers on the bottom left are really uncomfortable to use with the touch screen. This isn't much of a problem for right handed users, who move with the circle pad and aim with right hand, and naturally, the stylus/finger points to the items on the left corner and can be chosen easily. Left handed users like myself, cant use items this way. Our stylus/finger points to the right corner of the screen, but the powers are located on the left side, making it harder to access. It's so uncomfortable that I'm forced to switch to the D-pad and chose items while I aim with my right hand. There are rumors around that this game has patching capabilities. It would be nice if left handed controls would let you switch the powers to the right side of the screen, or customize the location.
I'm not sure if Kid Icarus has patching capabilities. If it doesn't, then there isn't much else you can do.
The game had better be patched. It's not just awful for lefties--the controls in general are plain bad.

This board is just for technical help, so there's not much we can say. Unfortunately you may just have to get used to this. The best you may be able to do is to email Nintendo at this page (click here.) ![]()
Bad controls are considered technical issues.

No, "bad controls" is an opinion, unless the controls were SUPPOSED to work some way but work a different way.
It's already been pretty clear that they cannot PATCH 3DS games. So if you can't get used to the controls, that's just too bad. There's nothing they can do.
A "technical issue" would be an issue that can be fixed..An actual issue. Not something that is an "issue" only subjectively
Im sorry, but this forum is for technical difficulties only. ![]()
Hello,
As fellow lefty, I understand the difficulties we face living in a right handed world. I wanted to let you know that your feedback is being sent to the proper department. Having said that, the goal for the tech forums is to provide a place where you can assist each other with troubleshooting and other support questions. To keep our site on track, I will need to lock the thread.
