3ds isnt booting up?

okay so this happened maybe 10-20 mins ago i was at the hospital playing kid icarus uprising and the L button was sticking so i turned the 3ds off and back on, the L button worked for a little while then started sticking again so i turned my 3ds off again and now when i try to turn it on the blue light comes on but the screen stays black like no backlight or anything. anyone wanna shed some light on this situation? =/

oh i also havent tried talomg the battery out yet like ive seen alot of other people do

Another Update

Okay now when i turn the 3ds on the light comes on then shuts off even if its charging

If your 3DS is experiencing black screens, along with the power light shutting off right after turning on the system, then I would suggest taking out the battery for a few seconds and see if that solves the problem.

 

However, if removing the battery does not help, then it sounds like there may be few issues with your 3DS, and it will need to be repaired. If that happens to be the case, then give Nintendo a call at 1-800-255-3700 (open 6am to 7pm, 7 days a week), or e-mail them via their webform, and they will set up your 3DS' repair process.

hmm alright~ it looks like to me the way its acting right now that my 3ds got shorted out by liquid...which is weird cause it hasent been around any liquid...but i guess ill have to send it in lol. thanks for the help~
