My DS is connected to my Nintendo WiFi connector, and the connection seems to be fine, but for some reason when it;s about 3/5 the way of downloading it cuts me off and sends me back to the menu without an error message or anything. Is this normal for the moment or is there something wrong with my connection. Sorry if this is in the wrong area.

I have the exact same problem. No error message, nothing.

There is a new puzzle available according to various sites.

I've been having similar problems. Is there any solution? Could it be that some defective games were shipped?

Yeah, I'm also in the same predicament. I bought the game today and read on kotaku.com that the weekly puzzle function had been enabled.
http://kotaku.com/355288/first-professor-layton-dlc-available I tried to download but I also get about a 3/4 download bar and it exits out. Someone on the kotaku thread also mentions it.

I don't think it has to do with my router. I tried different access point, different router, same problem. Strangely, I can connect to the WiFi Connection... but the download stops around 3/4 of the progress bar. All my other DS WiFi-enabled games runs normally, like usual.

So how does this tech forum work? Will someone from Nintendo address our problem?

If not, how do we bring it to someone's attention? I know that there are more people out there with this problem (I've seen many similar messages posted on various message boards). Most people seem to be able to access the DLC, but some can't. It seems like we've received defective catridges.

Recall, anyone?

I am having the same exact problem , otherwise the game works perfectly fine and is a great game. I feel like importing the sequel thats how good this game is but I don't speak Japanese.

I'm having the same problem. Download stops 3/4 of the way through. I'm annoyed. It's one of the reasons I bought the game.

I'm also having the same problem with trying to download the weekly puzzle. The status bar fills anywhere from halfway to about 3/4 then empties and returns to the previous screen with no errors. I'm able to connect and play with all of my other DS wifi games, on both my router, and another that I have relatively easy access to. I'm hoping someone with Nintendo support will give us some clue of what the issue is.
 
I'm using a Linksys router with Comcast cable internet for my primary connection.

I am having the same problem (the progress meter doesn't go full) with Prof Layton. Hopefully, if enough people report the problem then Nintendo will fix it! Its a fun game and I would hate to miss out on the downloadable puzzles.
