The image quality cannot be improved further because of the limitation of the N64. There are some games that use the Memory Expansion Pak and allow you to play the game at Hi-Rez, but it's not that high for a big TV. Just play it on your small TV. Your eyes will thank you :smileyhappy:

That's because OOT on the N64 runs @ a resolution of 320x240i. OOT on GCN(Master Quest & Collector's Edition)& on VC run @ 640x480p(which was mastered for & supports progressive scan quality). want the best of the best picture quality?...get Master Quest or Collector's Edition for the GCN. both disc's are OOP.

If a HD tv would change is display mode like a Computer monitor then it would display native 320x240 and it would not look like junk.
I hope there are HD tvs that do this.

All HD tvs basically Blow up all resultions to 720/1080. Its like taking a youtube video and full screening it.
the resoultion doe snot change just the size. When that happens it looks like junk.
This is why i perfer Tube TVs over HD tvs for games. Onlything that looks good on HD tv is stuff in HD.

I know how you feel. I noticed that after a while with my games on HDTVS; however, there is a way to improve the picture. If you T.V. allows you to change the image size, change it to normal.

For example, my T.V. has four sets of options for viewing a picture: normal, stretch, zoom, and full zoom. Although I usually put it on strecth (fills whole screen) I change it to normal for older games as it looks much better. Hope this helps. A S-Video cable would also work though.
