In SMS there is a fruit called the Durian. It is a round kickable fruit that you cannot pick up.
What most people don't know is that you can create complex moves/combos with this fruit. It is very fun to do and I realized this feature could be turned into a game of its own. Walls, portals, speed modifiers, etc. could act as obstacles that you must kick the Durian over/past to get it to the goal. This might not be a very extensive game, but some other modes could include multiple Durians, a giant maze, time attacks, etc. Of course, I wouldn't want this game looking ANYTHING like a soccer game -.-
So is this a legitimate idea?
One trick I taught myself:
1) Stand facing away from a Durian, but very close to it.
2) Back flip.
3) Press B as it reaches its highest point in the air.
4) As you touch the ground press A and hit the Durian
5) The fruit will fly at a piercing speed across the area!
Now, from this one excerpt, you can create a lot of variations from it. One would be where you jump up and land on top of the Durian.
(To me it's exciting learning new things, but to others this might not be an amazing idea)
This forum is for the discussion of tech-related questions only, like what to when your Nintendo Gamecube will no longer accept wired controllers, and it's purpose is for it's members to help each other solve their problems. Before posting on this site, you would be wise to read the rules.
That is a neat trick that you've discovered with the Durian, and I will definitely have to try that out on my copy of the game
.
But, as NIGHTFIRE5 said, this forum is for technical support only, so unfortunately, general game discussion is not allowed here.
Hi,
Since this isn't related to technical support I am going to need to lock this discussion. Thanks for keeping things on topic!
