Orange light flashing, then no charge, changed battery, fuses OK, what now ?

Hi all
I seem to have a quite regular issue. Suddenly my DS lite won't charge or power on.
I bought a new battery, checked voltage with multimeter, says 3.5V and still won't charge or power on.
I bought a new charger, absolutely no difference.
I opened the DS and checked both fuses with multimeter, and they are fine.
I tried plugging into different outlets, etc.
What can I do to fix it now please ?

If you've already tried changing the battery, getting a new charger, and using different outlets, but your DS Lite still will not power on, then unfortunately, it sounds like there may be a problem with your DS Lite, and your system will need to be repaired.

Call Nintendo at 1-800-255-3700 (open 6am to 7pm, 7 days a week), or e-mail them via their webform, and they will set up your DS Lite's repair process.
