I have 810 coins right now, and my status says I'm Platinum, but when I check the "see details" under my coin and username marker, where it shows the years and eligibilty of elite status, it says that I'm not eligible. I have also not gotten an e-mail about ordering the commemorative pin collection. I became a member since 08/11/2011. Does this mean I can't get the reward for 2010-2011 or 2011-2012?
Unfortunately, you became a member too late. The Club Nintendo year ends on July 30, and elite status members must confirm their reward order quickly. You are platinum status, but only for this Club Nintendo year. You will be able to order the next Platinum reward close to July 30, 2012.
Because you registered in August of this year, you have qualified for the 2011-2012 platinum reward. In order to qualify for the 2010-2011 reward, you had to reach platinum status by June 30, 2010. You would then have to confirm your reward choice by July 30, and you would receive an e-mail notifying you about your reward around that time.
Oh okay then. Alright thanks a lot, that clears things up. I was just confused because I thought I was Platinum for the previous year. But at least I'm still Platinum for the up coming one!
