We got a Wii U Deluxe for Christmas, hooked it up and all it does is blink the blue light. I’ve tried calling the support line but never get a person, the recording tells me to look at the online support and the online support and it tells me to call. Should I keep calling or simply return the Wii U? I would try to exchange for another, but they are currently out.
Any help would be great.
Called tech support about blinking blue light. On hold for over an hour. Could not get it to output to the tv. Tried changing cables etc.
Was told they never heard of blinking blue light. Told me to send in for repair on base unit and cable after discussion. They refused to replace the system with a new one.
Hope this helps. Was very disappointed with Nintendo response of not standing behind their product with a new replacement.
I finally got a live person on support line. They were willing to repair it, but due to my address (Military) I would have to pay to ship it to them. This is something I am unwilling to do since the Wii U never worked in the first place. So I will be returning it back to the store for a refund. Merry Christmas!
