Re: Flash Player on the Wii U

Sorry, but the Wii U does not support Adobe Flash, plus there is no way to download it or any other program onto the web browser.

Just checked and I am able to view Youtube videos with the Wii U browser on both my TV and the GamePad.

So if you are having trouble, make sure your Wii U console has the latest firmware update and if still no luck, you can use the Youtube Channel that is also should be included on the main menu screen on your GamePad.

Re: Flash Player on the Wii U

Youtube also uses HTML5, which the Wii U browser supports.

What 1 of 3 said. Also, it probably won't be on any Nintendo console in the future. No Nintendo system has ever had Adobe Flash player.

Re: Flash Player on the Wii U

Well, actually, I've used Flash on the Wii Internet Channel multiple times for YouTube videos. Of course, it was terrible due to the Wii's low RAM, but it was Flash nonetheless.

I get what you're saying there. I once tried to watch a video on Vat19's website on the Wii's internet browser. My Wii froze, and made a very loud noise!

Re: Flash Player on the Wii U

HTML5 itself is slowly but surely replacing Flash, so I doubt an update would happen.

Flash is dead, going forward nobody is supporting it. Android, apple all use HTML5. Sony and Microsoft don't support it either.

Re: Flash Player on the Wii U

Not to mention you cannot just "add Flash Player"

You'd need licensing from Adobe to put it on the console.
