Wii Mini compatibility

Can the Wii Mini play Mario Kart? If so, does the menu just show up different or how does that work because you don't have a Wi-Fi connection. Also can Wii Fit and the Wii Fit board hook up to the Wii Mini? Can other accessories like a dance mat?

Re: Wii Mini compatibility

You can play Mario Kart and Wii Fit on the Wii mini, but Wi-Fi features will not work. The menu for Mario Kart will still have the Wi-Fi option, but it won't work. Dance mats probably will not work, since the Wii mini and newer Wii consoles do not have GameCube controller ports.

Re: Wii Mini compatibility

Mario Kart Wii should work fine on the Wii mini. I don't have one, so I'm just guessing. You'd probably just get an error code if you try to connect.

Wii fit should also work fine, but again, I don't have a Wii mini to test this.

I'm not sure about dance mats, sorry.

Mario also has the info above. I posted a minute after him! Happens all the time.

Re: Wii Mini compatibility

Max image quality suffers too. Wii Mini removed support for 480p, component video, or s-video.

You have to use ancient 480i composite. Not a good idea for HDTV users.
