NES green screen

I recently bought a NES console and games. I cleaned them and put them in the console. I got a glitchy screen, so I bought a new pin connecter, cleaned the games, and got a green screen. I tried many times with different games, still got a green screen. Can someone tell me what this might be? Thanks!

Re: NES green screen

I would try your NES on a different TV. Some newer TV models have trouble with older systems.

Oh, sorry about that. It sounds like there may be a problem with your NES. I would, if you can, buy a new one and try it.

Re: NES green screen

You said you replaced the pin connector, make sure it was placed in tightly and correctly. Also, your capacitors could be fried. And when you replaced the connector, you could have unplugged or loosened one of the many wires connected to the mothor board. Did you try brasso on your NES games, that will wipe away all of the gunk of your nes.
