DSi simply stopped working at all

So my R button was being wnky and not working properly. In Chrono Trigger the game wouldm act as if it was being held down and on the menu it wouldn't respond at all. So I tried to use the blowing trick a few times and accidentally turned it on and off rapidly. After that whenever I try to turn it on the blue light will turn on for a few seconds, the screen will flash for a second and turn itself off. Even if I put it in the charger this still happens.

1.The DSi's battery might be destroyed

2.It short circutated?

It might be best to give it a repair, send a webform or call Nintendo.
