It sounds like your Nintendo Wii console may be in need of a repair. You can set one up by contacting Nintendo of America using their toll-free hot-line at 1-800-255-3700 and speaking to a rep there. Repairs for a Nintendo Wii console start at around $75.

Re: Wii will not turn on

Check the video cable; make sure it is fully inserted in the Wii.

Make sure the light on the power switch turns green and you hear  activity in the disc drive, if  a disc is inserted.  If the light on the power switch is off, then your power supply may not be plugged in all the way, or the power supply may be bad.

If you've checked all the connections, and everything looks good, you may need to call Nintendo at 1-800-255-3700 for help or to possibly set up a repair.  If you've had the Wii for less than 12 months (15 if you registered it on Club Nintendo), and you are the original owner, they will fix your Wii for free.  If your Wii is out of warranty, then you would have to pay for the repair, but you would be able to keep all your downloaded games plus you would get a new 12 month warranty on your repaired Wii.

Re: Wii will not turn on

Have you tried unplugging all of the cords, then plugging them back in?

Sometimes a cord becomes a little loose, and re-plugging everything in usually ensures that you catch the culprit.

If possible, you should also try plugging your Wii into another TV.
