So my N3DS suddenly stopped working. I was playing Fire Emblem on it and when I reached behind it to grab the stylus, it suddenly switched off. I thought it was out of battery, so I left it charging for about half an hour, but when I tried to turn it on again, it wouldn't. The blue light turns on when I press the power button, but nothing shows up on the screen, and after about three seconds, the blue light disappears and the nintendo turns itself off with a loud "POP". I have no idea what I should do with it!
Yur 3ds is fried. I would assume that either the wrong part was placed somewhere on the motherboard or the internal fuse blew.
You can do one of two things:
1) return the product to the store you bought it at
2) setup a repair order with nintendo by calling 1-800-255-3700. This will be covered completely by the warrentee unless the defect was caused by physical abuse. In this case it can cost $75+ but you should not need to worry about that since you probably didnt break the 3ds yourself.
