Game Boy Color "A" Button Does Not Work

Hello every one, I recently dusted off my old game boy color to discover that the "A" button does not work. I followed the normal procedure of cleaning the contacts and but I had no luck. I finally showed this to a friend of mine and he mentioned that there could be an issue with the trace that the "A" connects to. I need to know what pin # and to what I/C  the "A" button connects to. Anyone happen know what they are? Perhaps the problem is fixable if we can confirm that the trace is the issue.

Thanks very much.

Re: Game Boy Color "A" Button Does Not Work

You do realize that nintendo dosent like people posting directions on the techforums on how to fix the internals of game consoles or games.

But to answer your question, it is probably the connection from the A button to the main motherboard, you might not be able to fix that, but if you do, great!
