My Wii shows my SD card is blank

I downloaded games from Wii Saves and cannot transfer to the Wii because the SD card appears as if it is blank in the Wii - all the blocks are empty.  It is a 2G card that is Wii brand.  It is not locked.  The Wii software is up to date.  The card is definitely not blank because I can see all of the files that are on it when I look on the card on my computer.  Thanks for your help!

I should shut it off and then turn it back on.

You could check to see if there's some dust or dog hair inside the Wii's SD card slot. This might be why it's having trouble reading the SD card.

Re: My Wii shows my SD card is blank

Is the card physically damaged? My sd card has a chip of plastic missing and my wii is no longer bale to read it. My computer is able to with some difficulty, and my DSi has no problem what so ever.
