My DSi's main menu freqently is unresponsive. Buttons and touch screen sometimes work perfectly, sometimes work with a lot of sticking and button attempts, and sometimes don't work at all. When I can get to an actual game it works fine.
Help, please?
The main menu might be running slow because you have too much memory downloaded on your DSI.
I have 754 blocks free. Its not slow, necessarily, sometimes my button presses just don't do anything, or the touch screen doesn't work. But in game, everything's good.
Hmmm... You might want to call Nintendo about it. Their number is 1-800-255-3700 (open 6am to 7pm Pacific time). They can probably figure out what's going on.
The lady said she'd never heard of the problem and all she could do is let me mail it in for 85 dollars to repair what is clearly just software issue. -_-;
Is there some way to force the firmware to reinstall or something? This is supremely annoying but not worth 85 bucks to repair on a soon to be obsolete system...
Oh wait, I think the problem is that the touch screen keeps clicking itself at random on its own. Would that make the main menu unresponsive? Because now when I try to calibrate the touch screen, or use a touch screen game, I get weird input. Any way to fix that?
