Can my Pokemon be taken?

I put my Vintini in Dream World. I was gonna give one to my friend when he gets the game soon. I do not want to lose my. If I put my Pokemon in Dream world, what will be changed about it?

Nothing about your Victini will be altered. Once you wake it up using Game Sync, it will be returned to your game. That's all.
