Pokemon Sapphire Internal Battery has run dry

I get the error that my internal battery has run dry for my pokemon game. I have searched through support but all the solutions on support requires me to have a gamecube. Is there a way to fix the internal battery error without having a gamecube?

Do you have a copy of Firered/Leafgreen and a GBA link cable? There is a process that lets you use them to fix it, no Gamecube required.

In that case, try calling Nintendo at 1-800-255-3700. They might be able to fix it.

I have the same problem and I tried calling and they said they no longer fix games and don't see any solution other than replacing the game at this point. Does anyone have any other suggestions to fix this?

Re: Pokemon Sapphire Internal Battery has run dry

you could have another place, such as some sort of retro game store replace the battery for you, but at this point, your better off just buying a new game (or just keep playing it as is)
