Wi-fi connection to WPS?

So I have a 3DS and im having a problem getting connected to wi-fi for my DS games. I've tried the: search for an access point but I get a window on the screen that says: "security settings are not supported by the Nintendo DS.." Is there any way to get a connection? Btw I have a wirless modem called: ARRIS *that has an WPS button on the top* Thanks

here's an image of the modem:http://www.speedguide.net/images/hardware/arris/touchstonetg852/touchstonetg852.jpgchstonetg852.jpg *note the button on the right *wich says: WPS*

Re: Wi-fi connection to WPS?

Nintendo DS games only support WEP security.  It looks like you have your wireless set up to use WPA security, which will work just fine with your 3DS games and some newer DS games; however, if you want to play your old DS games over the internet, you have to change your wireless settings to use WEP instead.

No, Pokemon Black and White support WPA when played on either the DSi, DSiXL, or the 3DS.
